Iowa Safe Schools is proud to host the Aspire to Inspire ERG Conference as part of our mission to support LGBTQ youth across Iowa. Many of our students frequently ask how they can find supportive and affirming employers here in Iowa. At the same time, private employers often seek our guidance on how to meaningfully support Iowa's LGBTQ youth, and position themselves as potential next-steps for them.
Through this conference, we aim to help Iowa's companies reach their fullest potential by integrating equitable workplace practices into their foundation, empowering ERGs to wield collective power through shared goals, and guiding employers to be forward-thinking in their approach to DEI. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ individuals in Iowa and beyond.
