Christine Trippi brings more than three decades of hospitality leadership to the Aspire to Inspire Conference, offering a powerful keynote that reframes hospitality as a strategic leadership practice—not just a service model.
As Founder and CEO of The Wise Pineapple and bestselling author of Yes Is the Answer, Christine has built a career centered on helping organizations lead with confidence, empathy, and intention. Her journey began on the front lines as a laundry attendant and van driver, eventually rising through the ranks to General Manager, corporate leader at Marriott International, and trusted advisor to hundreds of hotels across the Americas.
Christine’s keynote will challenge attendees to think differently about how they show up for people—employees, colleagues, and communities alike. Drawing on real-world experience and proprietary frameworks, she explores how a “yes” mindset creates cultures where people feel empowered, supported, and motivated to deliver their best work. Her approach connects everyday leadership decisions to long-term organizational success, making hospitality a lens through which stronger teams and healthier workplaces are built.
Recognized globally as one of the most influential voices in hospitality, Christine combines insight, authenticity, and high energy to leave audiences inspired and ready to act. Attendees can expect a keynote that is practical, motivating, and deeply human—one that reminds us that how we welcome and invest in people is what ultimately defines our impact.

Financial Well-Being for All: The Heart of a People-First Workplace
Ena Banic Barnes, Executive Director, Iowa Credit Union Foundation
Financial well-being is a critical—but often overlooked—part of overall health. It’s not just about income; it’s about confidence in financial decisions, freedom from chronic stress, and the ability to plan for the future. When financial strain goes unaddressed, it affects performance, retention, and long-term well-being at work.
In this session, participants will explore how financial well-being fits into a people-first approach to leadership and organizational culture. Drawing on research and data from across Iowa and beyond, the session examines how meeting people where they are—through thoughtful employer practices related to financial security, housing, and childcare—supports stronger teams and more resilient organizations. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of why financial well-being matters and how empathy-driven practices contribute to sustainable business outcomes.
